It must of been around sixth grade when my mom first told me “Best friends dont exist the only people you’ll have forever is family” I about died “Your crazy mom just because you dont have friends” And just now it clicked the crazy lady was RIGHT! Of course ill never tell her that! What I realize now Is as soon as you add “BEST” to friend you’ve completly ruined EVERYTHING.Immedietly you hand over a BIG HEAVY bag of dont ever let me down,Promise to be there for all the important days of my life and just have my back for goodness sake.Not that easy because your “Best” who is also human by the way cant do it.I learned the way most people do..the HARD way because at thirteen i didnt want to believe the heart shaped best friend neaklace was a lie.That the heart was broken because someday this person will let you down and on the most important day of your life they wont be there.Friends failed me and i’ve failed friends for i didnt know then what i know now.
